Fall by Chobek Fall by Chobek
...There was a dead crow on the lawn the other day ..... At first I didn't think of it in an overly emotional way.... I was fascinated but detached.

Then there was a second crow, it wasn't dead .... but it just hung around the area, sitting on the ground.... not wanting to leave.

... and that is when I started to worry and think and conjecture....
I think this drawing has something to do with that... even though it isn't a crow...
honestly I don't know what it is.
What kind of bird has teeth?

One of the things I really love about your pieces are the great borders you do.

If I remember well, crows tend to be monogamous.
Was the other the fallen's companion?

Great work, a bit sad.

That's kind of what I imagined... And what I thought of while drawing this.
However,
. When I looked at the (living) bird it seemed a bit young...the body was full grown but the head seemed juvinile .it was reluctant to leave and hung around on the ground for a few days... Then it was gone. I'm hoping it left on its' own.

I admire your patience in making these wonderfully detailed images (as I've probably said before), and birds freak me out (in a good way) so there's that too. (:

It's so wonderful!
The structures are organic and remind me of stone patterns at the same time. And do I see scales?
This could be an offering to the gods or a dead crow demon.
I love the picture layout :)
